I have 2 units of Dell monitor - S2415H and U2414H.

Undecided which to choose. Both also not yet open. I plan to sell one of them after deciding the one for my own use.

Kindly help to advice.

use the u2414h, sell off the s2415h.
you will be more happier with the ultrasharp version

I have a preference of glossy screen which is sharp. At the same time, I also wanted 2 hdmi ports....

Btw, what is the use of USB ports in the screen? Whats the meaning of upstream and downstream usb ports?

At first, bought U2414h first. Then only notice the u2414h is not glossy screen. Since I wanted a glossy screen, I buy another Dell s2415h.

However, some friends had mention that u2414h is better due to ultra sharp feature. Before I open the box, I would like to gather opinion about this 2 monitor.

Now, I have decided to take the S2415h for my own use although many had recommended the U2414h due to the many superior features compared to S2415h.

I have made a comparison of both glossy and anti-gloss screen. I found that I still prefer the glossy screen very much. So, the U2414h is up for sale.


A comparison of U2414h and S2415h as below:

5 years vs 3 years warranty
2 hdmi ports vs 1 hdmi port
4 usb ports vs 0 usb port
tilt, pan and height adjustment vs tilt only

Anyone who is interested in the U2414h can pm me your offer. The unit is sealed and is from Brightstar (Authorized Dell Reseller in Malaysia) and the original price is RM1065.

Would like to ask... for U2414, it includes DP cable ( Mini-DP to DP) in the website stated.

Is the Mini-DP to DP reversable as well? Mean I want to use DP to Mini-DP (if I get a U2414H)?
