QUOTE(allvin @ Dec 14 2006, 12:04 AM) haha.. Try and see lo.. ANyway, this software only works for directlinks or surfing.. P2P or BT still remain same, unless tmnut stop the throttling i just tried and downloaded just now...after installation, BSOD...reboot and no network detected...so, i'd go to safe mode, uninstall it, everything's back to normal ...beside i don't need this...i've no problem with Internet Speed, the only problem i have is...Frequent Disconnection and until now...TM.Net's technical support haven't showed up

QUOTE(J-Slade @ Dec 14 2006, 12:27 AM) BT has improved for me. I think alongside my configuration of on uTorrent, this cFosSpeed helps to regulate my upload speed thus maxing out my download rate. Oh man... so sorry to hear that. But at least we now know there is one user that it doesnt work with . Btw, just wanna add: During installation, it actually replaces one of Window's XP driver that controls the network bandwidth with their own. yeah, i noticed that...if i'm not mistaken, something with TCP/IP don't know la...i tried to normal uninstallation (not in safe-mode), but it tooks hours (i think) to reach 50% complete, so...i decided to cancel the normal uninstallation process, reboot to safe-mode and uninstall it that way... i'm also curious, how's the speed improvement, can you guys attached before/after speed? maybe you can use speedtest.net to speedtest...hmmm?

QUOTE(J-Slade @ Dec 14 2006, 12:40 AM) it doesn't work that way.... even as I use the TMNET speedometer, the speeds remain unchanged. Lemme just clear this up with some of you.. it does not actually increase your download rate, it just lets you fully utilize your bandwidth so that you will have better download/surfing by shapping your packets traffic.. , sorry for misunderstanding...yeah. i read that again...and yes, now i know and understand ...hmm...this means, it'll maybe 99% utilized? or 100%

QUOTE(J-Slade @ Dec 14 2006, 03:06 AM) Haha... its crazy man their webpage. So many images. I think mine loads pretty quick... reason because I am using Firefox combo with cFosSpeed? that's why i'm asking because, i'm not using cFospeed (BSOD upon completion installation), using FireFox 3.0a1 + FasterFox (FireFox eXtension).

QUOTE(J-Slade @ Dec 14 2006, 03:14 AM) Man... so sad you can't join the rest of the peeps here trying out this neat lil software. It really does make a difference for web browsing. All thanks to traffic shaping Btw, fasterfox actually can be done manually in the firefox registry... haha.. I did mine a long time ago. Its about setting how the images are cached right? Anyway thats outta topic edi.. man its getting late. Will continue to further test cFosSpeed and let you guys know what other cool features I found... see ya i think i'm gonna test it again...btw, which one you're using? cfospeed v3.12 right?

QUOTE(J-Slade @ Dec 16 2006, 09:31 PM) Welcome aboard sniper69 But... how does it perform for you? Does it increase your web surfing, downloading, BT, etc... well...there's a difference, but i can't sure whether its because of this software or new phone line (i had installed new phone line due to frequent disconnection this evening)... btw, J-Slade, you should make a bulk order for this software, or we can work something else to get this awesome software, for RM50 (lifetime license) i would buy it...on top of that, it's really work on traffic shaping...

QUOTE(J-Slade @ Dec 16 2006, 10:02 PM) Yeap, I've been trying to negotiate with them for bulk order actually. See if can get bulk price So... after one week of using, are you guys satisfied with cFosSpeed? Are you interested in purchasing a full lifetime license for yourself? Btw, according to them, when they come out with the version for Windows Vista, you can still continue to use your license even if you order now. So how? You guys interested? count me in, it's RM43~RM50 right...

i tried on online game, BF2 and every time finish loading game, it'll crash to BSOD, i wonder why...but i took an experiment, and found, if we select "Favour Bandwidth", chances to get BSOD is high, so i select "Favour Ping" which is work (i mean can play, no BSOD)...anyway, what's Favour Ping and Favour Bandwidth? this setting can be changed on the fly right...

kbps is not kBps ok, there's a different, so 500kbps isn't same 500kBps. mine also direct download at least 180kBps~200kBps, while average 175kBps, with/without cFospeed
btw, i'm uninstalling cFospeed because seems my system can accept/compatible with this software, it cause a lot of trouble than good.

good to hear from ya'll...but from my experience, i can't full use of it, i meant, whenever trying to online gaming with it (enable/disable) BSOD or sometime will hang, after uninstall it, it'll do good, currently my IC is good and fast, but i do feel the internet bandwidth efficiency is better with cFospeed though, it's just my PC can't accept this software...
