But I can't really think of a definitive game for PS and PS2

I am sure the Sony fanboys will tell you its Final Fantasy, Devil May Cry or Metal Gear Solid.

Gameboy, Gameboy color = Pokemon series ??

I don't want to be labelled a Sony fanboy, but the reason for me to get a PS3 would be MGS4 and FFXIII.

If both were to be released on Xbox360, forget PS3

for the PS,IMO,MGS,......................GT

for other people,would be those two plus FF,DMC,tekken,god of war,onimusha.

fanboys or not, these would probably be the console's definitive games


for me,xbox's killer game would be DOA or PGR.
didnt quite get into halo myself...didnt find the story interesting...

as for the 360,gears of war and lost planet.. havent seen lost planet in real life,but coming from capcom,i expect nothing less than

btw,isnt halo 2 a xbox game,not 360?

Halo 2 is an xbox game....playable on the 360...

I think Gears of War is as definitive game for the 360. It has achieved that cult status..

N64 = Super Smash Bros, Zelda series on 64
PS1 = i suppose twisted metal? (last time was super famous)
