Hello there Maxis.

Apparently my contract is up and I would like to port out from Maxis.

The billing cycle for my account is 28th every month and my internet quota just got refreshed, so the question is, if I port out tomorrow, do I still have to pay the full amount of the monthly subscription before I port out? Or is it on pro-rata basis?

Thank you!
Maxis

Hi viqq,

The charges will be pro-rated from your bill cycle date to the date of success port out request. If your mobile data is recently refresh, we would suggest that you utilised it before proceed with port out request.

Thank you

Thanks for the reply!

Oh so you mean the mobile data will be forfeited once I port out? Shan't it be pro-rated as well?

One more question, can we change the postpaid plan to hotlink? If so, can they transfer the mobile data to the Hotlink?

Hi viqq,

Your data won't be pro-rated. You may fully utilised it before you port out and you will only be charged pro-rated accordingly. You may change your postpaid to prepaid however your data & credit balance are not transferable.

Thank you
