MCIS has the highest medical  coverage compared to all the insurers.

3k per annum with coverage to 1.5 million.

my previous one with Prudential was 4200 per annum with 500,000 coverage.

reason being because my damn insurance agent decided to add on this rider and that rider that I do not need since I am not planning to have children.

as long as I understand the investment linked plan is used to cover for my medical.

I do not want a plan that is structured for return of investment and when a percentage of my premium goes to someone else who I might add decided to add 5 different riders on my policy back when I wasn't knowledgeable in the arts of finance and investment.

The plan that u buy is not a ILP.
Its standalone medical card.

QUOTE(Allianz @Eagle @ Dec 13 2016, 04:11 PM)
All overseas treatment is on reimbursement basis and claims to be based on treatment cost in Msia or Spore depends on which Allianz medical card you hold:

Allianz Medisafe Infinite = Treatment in Msia & other countries, Yes claims will be based on the Reasonable and Customary Charges (RCC) in Malaysia.
Allianz Medisafe Infinite Extra  = If treatment in Spore, All benefits in respect of the treatment to the RCC in Singapore.
Allianz Medisafe Infinite Extra  = If treatment in Msia & countries other than Spore: follow RCC Msia.

[attachmentid=8249589]

Your medical card from Allianz is the Infinite or Infinite Extra? @guviguvi
Also kindly take note that if it's the Infinite Extra medical card, there isn't Co charges of 20%. It is waived.

The Medisafe infinite has Co payment of 20% or 10% (Depending on RnB) if treated outside Msia, which in condition the total bill is more than 10% of Annual Limit, If within limit, all would be covered as well.
[attachmentid=8249590]
*
Even u treated at SG, but u can only claim the customary charges based on MYR
So u will need to fork out more $$

Very stupid and EXTREMELY slow browsing access the Allianz Insurance online portal..  shakehead.gif

First time Reset Password because quite few months don't access to online portal to check the transactions detail.
After reset password, need "Activation Code"... sweat.gif (I though need to key-in "Product key"?)
After get the activation code, finally can check the personal information.
Then after 3 or 4 months, I access the Allianz online portal, AGAIN need "Activation Code". This activation code not like TAC send the code to the mobile number.
In fact, need request the activation code from Allianz there.. Is it everytime before I access this portal, then need "Activation Code" everytime from Allianz?? vmad.gif

Feel extremely stupid for their system..

any prudential agents here can share the difference between PRUvalue med, and PRUlink one with medical?

i got proposed for a policy under PRUvalue med, with the following coverage:
life 300k
ci 300k
minor accident 8k
hospitalization rm200/day for room
lifetime limit 1.5mil
room and board RM300

and price is around 7k p/a... i understand from some friends that got PRUlink one with higher coverage, and lower premium... hmm so whats the difference, causing my premium to be so much higher as compared to my friend, with same premium, getting double my coverage?

QUOTE(violetlace @ Dec 31 2016, 12:03 AM)
Guys,

Is this a good plan? The insurance agent is my friend la, he proposed AIA to me.

RM220/Monthly - I got 1 week to decide cos b'day coming

Basic Income Replacement Plan
Death Benefit - RM50k
Total Permanent Disability - RM50k
Critical Illness - RM50k
Early Pay Critical Illness - RM100K

Supp Income Replacement Plan
*Hospital & Medical - Medical Card R&B @ RM150 with APM & APMB - Annual Limit 1 Mil

Projected Returns
Age 50: 55K
Age 60: 62,400
Age 70: 14K

Questions
1- Is it good to be insured as young possible, I'm 22 yrs. The younger you are, the cheaper it is?
2- As a young person, I want to save money for more important events, so is this necessary?

*
u r male or female?

Critical Illness - RM50k
Early Pay Critical Illness - RM100K

No need to by 36CI if u already buy early CI.

Haha yeah, friend didn't suggest the female coverage cos I'm not married, plus some of its critical illness is alrdy covered in 36CI.

And I def don't want to pay more
*
yep, that why u can remove the 36CI and take the early 36 CI.
Save cost

Medical cost are increasing every year, close to 10% every year.
*
But the insurance company will pay only according to Medical fee As Charged (Subject to Reasonable and Customary Charges) and based on standard charge rate for all private hospitals based on the Private HealthCare Facilities and Services (Private Hospitals and other Private HealthCare Facilities) Regulation 2006 of Malaysia.

Meaning to say that ur MC is 1m per year.
But the medical cost is RM100k , but according to Reasonable and Customary Charges, the medical cost is only RM50k.
ur MC 1m also unless, it can only pay RM50k only.
u urself need to pay another RM50k.

So you are telling that, if an insurance company can cover rm1 billion in a lifetime also can? As they no need to pay the full amount following the regulation.
At the end, a person pay more to insurance company but still have to fork out money if he were to seek medical treatment in the wrong private hospital that charge much more expensive than what the regulation stated.
*
yes u can clarify more with ur agent by asking them the question, what if hospital charged more than Medical fee As Charged (Subject to Reasonable and Customary Charges) and based on standard charge rate for all private hospitals based on the Private HealthCare Facilities and Services (Private Hospitals and other Private HealthCare Facilities) Regulation 2006 of Malaysia ?

Please explain then?

what if hospital charged more than Medical fee As Charged (Subject to Reasonable and Customary Charges) and based on standard charge rate for all private hospitals based on the Private HealthCare Facilities and Services (Private Hospitals and other Private HealthCare Facilities) Regulation 2006 of Malaysia ?
