just buy any brand la... no electronic how a ac can function?
all aircond has the same function to blow cool air to ur room...
btw York now is bought over by china company called Johnson...
made in china and all spare part also from china...
my advice: stay out from York... neighbour new bought york ac repaired twice last year

not sure about the latest york/ascon but the ones 3-5years ago.. very bland white design type.. is very good work horse.. about noisy but can tahan long hours in shop environment full working hours., i recall higher BTU than panasonic also.. so far used over 10units in 3different shops the last few years.
if compressor spoil or kena curi (yeah happened before in one shop lol..forgot to chain it to the cage) also many technician can get used ones or spares are easy to find.
