And the Powerex is 1100mAH, so more than 9000mAH, not 900mAH. I guest i must be sleepy when i type that. The highest from GP is 9000mAH, but i can only find 2200mAH locally. Thinking of getting some high capacity D size for some of my application.

Eneloop initial selling point is the future battery to replace alkaline-throw-away batteries. The batteries that you quoted 9000mAh alread replaced by 12000mAh, they are not meant for long storage but for frequent charging and discharging appliance, charges can be store in very short time only.

Sanyo eneloop battery can be charging by other brand NiMH charger but Sanyo advice customer use Sanyo own charger for better charging quality.
