So, the Remax 4 port Hub, and the Lenovo F309 external hard drive have arrived.
The Lenovo hard drive is so compact. The Remax comes with normal 2 pin plug. Just 2 days from the delivery dates, delivered by LEX. Super fast deliver. This post has been edited by Alan Yee: Jan 29 2016, 02:35 PM |

QUOTE(ckweng @ Jan 29 2016, 02:52 PM) Bro, would appreciate your pro review on tha Remax charging hub on charge performance, current push rate etc Hahahaha, no need repeat la, you can read the review at Lazada page.It just act like the actual wall plug, supplying 2A of current on all 4 port, so the charging is as fast as those wall plug charger. Now it charge my RN2, OPPO Find 7, Acer Liquid S2, smart watch. It is not the "fast charger" that works like VOOC or any other fast charge technology, just as a normal 2A charger, but 4 device simultaneously. Of course, need original charging cable for utilizing the 2A charging. Those cheap cable buy from pasar malam just don't charge fast. Maybe can try buying the charging cable from Remax too. |

QUOTE(salimbest83 @ Jan 29 2016, 03:49 PM) It is rated 6.2A, max one port allow 2.4A, then it will auto shared out, so one port around 1.55AConsidering normal phone actually only draw around 1A, so it is more than enough. |

The Lenovo F309 1TB external hard disk also very good.
Using the true USB 3.0 connection, and very fast in transferring data. The HDD also very slim in size, and light too, almost as small as a smart phone. |

QUOTE(zamanjaafar @ Jan 31 2016, 04:51 PM) a bit unrelated, but figuring most lazada buyers are here, want to ask a question Just request for full refund.i bought a refurbished laptop early this month. it was faulty. so i initiated a return. After lazada confirmed it was defective, I chose for a replacement. the problem is the replacement is also defective. can i still do a return on this replacement product? Refurbish stuff always has high chance of defective. But if you still insist for replacement, you have to contact their CS. |

QUOTE(zamanjaafar @ Jan 31 2016, 07:03 PM) Thank you. I take it there would be no problems in returning an item twice (return a replacement product). Yes, just get a cheap new Lenovo is a much better choice, at least still with warranty. The item is a C2D Dell Latitude (refurbished). First item received, screen and wireless problem. Now the replacement is also faulty - battery problem. At 1st look, RM400+ for a 14" laptop is a good deal. Just for my stepsister who is in secondary school. Better full refund and take a cheap new Lenovo. And cheap laptop doesn't means will be extremely slow, just not perform well in gaming, and not super multitasking when open too many program. |

QUOTE(Leon be here now @ Jan 31 2016, 09:41 PM) only research i did was look at the specs and read others review, there is an active thread on Edifiers where you can post info, and some guy has audition lots of Edifiers speakers and he writes lots of review in lowyat. just do a search eg edifier R1900TV Actually i am quite new to speakers, only starting thinking of upgrading/wast money on a better system since people in this forum was talking about 2.0 speakers or bookshelf speakers and how good they are compared to 2.1 i personally hate base and prefer mid tones, and prefer a flat/balance speaker, dont mide the large speakers and there for 2.0 speakers suite me. lol initially i was just going to get a R1280T which is 42W, then though to myself hey maybe i want it to bigger system why not just topup about RM100 and get a Bluetooth 66W version. then greedy me think why not topup another RM100 get the 120W !!! version and i dont need bluetooth anyway. its a totally different class all together, magnetic shield so no annoying cellphone crack sound, Class D amplifier system with DSP architecture etc.... autho i have not tried any of the speakers i or you mention. i believe the R1280T will be better then the R1280T but both in the same class, in mid and should be better, not sure about the base tho. QUOTE(sagethesausage @ Jan 31 2016, 10:29 PM) Just some sharing, if those used as computer speaker and computer table is small, then they may not well suited, caused I in person saw these speaker are much bigger than those 2.1 speaker's sub-woofer.So, only buy it if the computer table, or TV cabinet has large enough space to placed those speaker. Then, these speaker amp actually not very loud. If your connected source has low volume output (especially those 3.5mm output from smartphone, TV that just for headphone or earphone listening), simply cannot pump out very loud sound. Output from PC/Computer/Laptop 3.5mm audio jack, and digital connection like digital coaxial or digital optical are more recommended. Sound fidelity wise, actually Bluetooth connection has much lower sound fidelity, due to the bluetooth A2DP protocol compress much of the sound data. AUX, or digital connection sounding much better. So, if you have enough space, then has one of the right output source, then these speaker will sound very good, produce much richer and clearer treble, mids and bass sound than normal computer 2.1 satellite speaker. QUOTE(maxera @ Jan 31 2016, 11:16 PM) 2.0 is stereo. 5.1 surround - 3 front/2 back. I never heard of bluetooth home theatre but for 8 metres using cables is still worth it. About budget 1k is really not enough for true home theatre experience. For me lah. There exist wireless home theater, which each speaker can be charged, self powered, but very expensive. It is not related to bluetooth though. Then bluetooth actually only transmit 2 channel audio signal, normally from smartphone. Bluray player, DVD player, TV, all don't has bluetooth output for audio, so still much stick to wire. For most simple home theatre speaker without much wire, maybe can consider soundbar, but won't sounding as good as those true 5.1 speaker. |

QUOTE(sagethesausage @ Jan 31 2016, 11:27 PM) Thanks for recommendation. I guess he only needs stereo since there's no free space behind the sofas, at most only got space to place speakers on the sides of the sofa, which I presume is not a good way to set up speakers? This is a receiver with bluetooth, means it can receive sound from bluetooth from smartphone, phone, or any laptop with bluetooth.Budget is actually flexible, can go up to RM2000, if my dad is paying for it himself. If nobody uses bluetooth home theatre system then can you tell me what these receivers are for? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JR6GJL...SGGX7E76FB2ZKF2 Anyone got a simple guide that I can follow to purchase the best speakers for my dad, I don't want to spend hours doing research on this. Many new cheap Bluray home theater has this feature. It doesn't means to connect the speaker with bluetooth, simply it just means it can receive bluetooth audio from smartphone. QUOTE(sagethesausage @ Feb 1 2016, 12:15 AM) Forgot to mention that my dad's setup is hooking up a projector with a laptop (got bluetooth). The receiver is connected to the speakers right? So can play movie on laptop then sound come out from speakers 8m away? Yes, can connect to laptop via Bluetooth. The receiver will connect to separate speaker. I notice Bluetooth works better if placed closely (within 3 meter without many obstacle blocking still ok, but 8 meter will have intermittent mute sound, due to lower signal strength, tested this on all 3 Bluetooth audio system) And again, sound come out from laptop via Bluetooth only 2 channel, then Bluetooth sound streaming actually compress the audio streaming data. Best way? Direct connect the laptop HDMI cable to the receiver, then let the receiver HDMI output to projector. This allow the receiver to get 5.1 channel audio, and also get uncompress sound from laptop. |
