Hi there and happy new year guys!!

So currently i have a rm69(8GB) home wifi plan with a 7.2mbps WiFi Huawei B660 Modem.

I wanna have faster speed in connections(wanna play MC5 online with no internet lags)without needing to upgrade my current 8GB plan so what i could think of is upgrading my wifi modem to a better one

I am acknowledged that i cant use the LTE mobile wifi modem because it needs a minimum rm88 plan. However i am not sure on what other wifi modems that i could upgrade(with additional payment if required) to a better wifi modem

If possible,can i upgrade to the 21mpbs Huawei B683 Home Wifi Modem? Or maybe the 21mpbs (no name) mobile wifi modem(MiFi)?

Are there more choices that i dont know?

Hi,

If you are an existing customer for more than 6 months, you can upgrade to the latest 4G LTE Mobile WiFi Modem (MiFi) with the minimum subscription of RM88/month plans and above. You will need to pay an advance payment of RM340. You will enjoy a rebate of RM20/month for 12 months, which will be rebated in to your monthly bill. You will be re-contracted for 12 months.

However, you are not able to change to other modems (i.e. 7.2Mbps USB modem, 21Mbps PortaFi modem and 21Mbps Mobile WiFi modem - MiFi) at the moment.

Can i buy the Huawei B683 WiFi Modem seperately without any plan upgrades at Maxis Center?? Or buy the 4G LTE Mobile WiFi Modem seperately as stated in the Maxis webpage??

By purchase the said modem only at Maxis Centre however, the price will be expensive compared than what we have advised earlier

Alternately, you may purchase a different LTE wireless broadband (differ from what are stated in our website)
