QUOTE(ytan053 @ Feb 24 2016, 11:48 AM) It never mention anything about PBB VS 6% cashback but merely the 12 months balance transfer. PTPTN started to accept credit card payment for SSPN-i not long (Nov 2015), and it can be done over the counter only. I remembered POSonline accepted credit card for PTPTN loan but stopped doing it later on. One can pay PTPTN loan with Ambank credit card over Ambank internet bank (last checked in 2015). Still there isn't any other way to contribute to SSPN-i with credit card online now.

pretty hard to trace which spendings get cashback, either insurance (HLA website) payment or Wednesday (Dec 16th) spending get cashback. Personally think Dec 16th get cashback as the promotion just started. This post has been edited by roy918: Feb 26 2016, 03:42 PM

For the sake of sharing, once for all. Payment to LHDN entitles to 6% cashback, at least for 2015.

QUOTE(harmonics3 @ Mar 23 2016, 04:11 PM) Has anyone tried JomPAY using PBVS credit card as online transaction for 6% cash back? I remember you could only do jompay at respective bank, which is PBEbank.com in this case? Any payment through PBEbank.com is not entitles to cashback. You could try Jompay with PBB VS on Maybank2u but not sure it allows.

QUOTE(ftan @ Apr 20 2016, 02:43 PM) If I purchase airline tickets for other people, are they covered by the credit card travel insurance? I'm trying to find more details on this. Only principal cardmember, principal cardmember's spouse and principal cardmember's dependents entitle to travel insurance by charging full flight ticket price to card. Supplementary cardmember (parents, siblings, parents in law, etc) that are not principal cardmember's spouse and dependents are not entitle.

QUOTE(ftan @ Apr 21 2016, 05:48 PM) Sorry, missed out your post. You may want to check with PBB again. That was the written answer I got which is pretty much inline with travel insurance policy wording. I choose to trust the policy wording than CSO and the risk is not worth trying.

QUOTE(ftan @ Apr 22 2016, 11:17 AM) Yup, will do that. I had already planned to visit (for other errands) or call them. Verify travel insurance certificate in credit card agreement here especially the definition of family in the sentence before exclusions.

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Jun 5 2016, 12:44 PM) gotten "1st" statement, after 6 weeks since activation. as expected, max cashback only RM50. sent a complaint to PBB to dispute their cashback calculation because they dont generate 1st statement for partial month (only happens to new user). Another way to "workaround" this issue is to change statement date on first statement or first two statements. Did that and got myself two RM50 cashback in less than 50 days.
