Just read the TnC for the 18% CB. Not sure exactly what you guys spend on but they pretty much rule out everything.

eh really? when i registered for it i actually compared the t&c with the everyswipe one and noticed it's bout the same only hmm.gif
now i read again the new update is mainly exclusions of bill payments? but payonline shld be safe
since everyswipe excludes payment for utilities, gov-related payments, insurance premiums as well but those we paid via uob payonline were eligible tho, most likely they were counted as online transactions
*
I have a feeling they knew they made a mistake for not including bill payment in everts wipe counts campaign. That's why they added the term for this contest so they will definitely pay more attention now.

my week 3 transaction done on 19Oct was credited into account on 19Nov....
so I assume week 9 transactions done on 30Nov should be credited into account 30Dec....but til now still no news yet...not sure whether is it not entitle for it hmm.gif
*
got two possible reasons:

1. bill/utility payment no longer entitled (assume you did).
2. the contest is over. so they compile the rest of the weeks winners and announce on one go.

yeah me too waiting for CB W9,10,11,12,13.

Oh yeah, 12 midnight will pay TNB online RM556 test see.
*
easy for u since u use this card to pay bill. I can't since I have other cards like wise that can give 10% rebate so not wise for me to take the risk.

I think most if not all payments thru UOBpayonline have mcc code 4814, which is online bill payment. According to 2 PBB CSs I consulted this code is not eligible for the Premiercards campaign but they could be wrong. For me I avoid them.
*
depends, if u only have pbb vs as the card to pay bills, it's worth the risk.

For me I am greedier, m using CIMB CB for paying bills at Sams to get upto 12% CB, n online purchases using PBB VS for this campaign since it was confirmed FCFS.
*
technically paying bill at Sam using CIMB CC is 13% if you have Sam membership card.

online purchases abit hard unless you have things to buy... and i tend to buy from US website. time zone is another problem.

I have entered promo with HLB and MBB and they have much less stringent tnc and better CB. If you join those promos and then compare against PBB you will realize that PBB is not only applying lots of rules but also less CB and also less in quota per week/month contest.

Thus, they are stingy! tongue.gif

Unifi, Maxis, Celcom, Digi is eligible.
Syabas and TNB is not.
*
T&C says bill payment. Not UTILITY bill payment. So technically ALL bills not allowed.

*
if they tell u that means it's likely true. some banks don't even bother telling u the reason.

HI WTA,

RM888 promo

"Qualified Retail Transactions" does it include Streamyx bills, astro bills?
*
i find it hard to believe you only bother to read the first 3 words instead of the entire sentence.

https://www.pbebank.com/pdf/Promotions/tc-angpowre.aspx

“Qualified Retail Transactions” shall include all local and overseas retail
spending, online purchases and new Zero Interest Instalment Plan (ZIIP) full
purchase amount (not monthly instalment) and exclude the transactions that
earn Cash Back under other on-going Cash Back promotion, flexipay,
balance transfer, auto-debit, recurring payments, payments for utilities,
direct marketing, insurance premiums, government related payments,
payment via www.pbebank.com and ATM, cash advance/ cash
withdrawal, quasi cash, casino transaction, interest payments, late
payment fees, finance charges, annual fees, reversals, payment to
charity(ies) and any form of service/ miscellaneous fees.

Thanks reply.

I actually did read but didn't want to quote the whole thing in the reply.

Payment for utilities i am not sure cause astro is some luxury item and a service purchased right? Is it all forms of bills are not qualified.
*
for pbb they have been inconsistent with their tnc. if i interpret it correctly bill payment is not excluded. so astro is acceptable.
