So far yes. Best is to fully use up the principle card firs, just in case.

good idea. would be a shame though to loose the extra 50 RM. makes it so much better smile.gif + i dont really have a good subsitute card anymore sad.gif

quick question: does digi autopay qualify for the 6%? trying to move some of the monthly bills to autopay to minimise work. TM and TNB have to use uobpayonline - autopay wont give the discount right?

auto-pay / auto-debit is not eligible for the 6% cash back.
*
thanks for the confirmation. will keep paying manually and shedule accordingly then. just 2-3 bills per card anyway smile.gif

except tnb?  hmm.gif
nonetheless payonline is still like the "safest" payment gateway, in terms of cb since majority bill payments are eligible for it  thumbup.gif
pay using uob payonline!  laugh.gif
*
TNB payment through uobpayonline no CB? i just cancelled my autodebit to squeeze the TNB payment in the PBB VS for the cashback sad.gif. Other channel for the CB?

Not valid for certain periodic campaigns, but ok for the VS card-specific 6% CB.
*

I was told by a customer service officer of PBB that if we're pledging a FD with PBB, we have to pay RM5 per thousand for the stamping fee (so if we pledge 10K, it's RM50), anyone know if this is true? I'd cross checked with another bank (MBB) but they said they're not imposing such thing.
*
i pleged 10k for my first CC 15 yrs ago with RHB i think. no such thing. instead they paid interest. there should be no stamping fee for funds injection. why dont you check with PBB HQ? or just tell them you want to pledge but not pay stamping fees. they will waive them because they want your business smile.gif

i didnt pledge. i only pledged for my first card cause no credit record. now i would no do that - got all the docs so no need wink.gif

what i like about the card: i can easily get 2x50 RM cashback every month with minimal spending, just pay mobile, TM, TNB and some overseas ecommerce. AF waiver with just 12 swipes and i get 3 lounge visits on top. the balance i spend on other cards. i am thinking of checking out the CB campaigns too but probably too troublesome.

there is AF but waived with 12x swipes,

yes right. 12 swipes is nothing. doesnt count. AF with 50k spending requirement is different story right?

whether it is easy to achieve or nor is not the matter. to state no AF gives a different and misleading meaning
*
well fine - i will change it. you are right. for me 12 swipes is considered no AF.

yeap.

agree with you.
the 12 swipes is nothing in comparison with MBB VS with 50k spending to waive the annual fees. sweat.gif
*
yap that is i am not using MBB VS. dont think i can hit the spending because i just wanted to use the CB. well might have to reconsider though cause i still have the silly old Alliance Plat card with sufficient spending on it. keeping it right now mostly for petrol and 2x pts related spending since the pts are at least evergreen. usefull for slow accumulation but way overused at the moment. they did however paid me some rentention credit when i told them i will cancel the card. not too shabby but i dont think they will pay me again smile.gif

For those who applied for the credit card, were you an existing or previous customer of PB? I was told if you are new customer i.e no banking relationship with PB, they will not approve your application.
*
no banking relationship with them whatsoever. no problem getting the card but application backed with income documents, a perfect records and existing cards.

Did anyone apply this card through ringgit plus.com??

*

Is it very hard to get approve for this cc? based on my scenario I have total annual of more than 100k (inclusive bonus). Without bonus it is less than 90k. What's the possibility of getting approve?
*
try your luck. no harm. i had no problem getting the card but then i exceeded the requirements anyway.

i strongly agree on this, the convenient fee charged by airasia too damn much, and it charged per ticket not by per purchase.
*
yes this actually made me cancel my last booking with them as i didnt have money in my maybank. i am since then making it a point to fly with different airlines because their surcharge is to me just extortion. maybe the trade ministry will be a good place to complain about this.

UOB Payonline service for TNB is down until 19th July 2016.  sad.gif

Blackout period for TNB bill payment

In support of the TNB system maintenance, please note that all TNB bill payments will be temporarily unavailable from 30 June 2016 - 19 July 2016. Please make your payments before or after the period stated above. Alternatively, you may continue to make your bill payments at the nearest TNB's Kedai Tenaga during this period. For further information and Kedai Tenaga's location, please visit www.tnb.com.my or TNB's Care Line at 1 5454 / 1300 88 5454. We look forward to serving you better.

Any other alternatives to pay TNB bill to get 6% cash back?

Hope to get advice as my bill is due on the 6th of July.

Thank you.
*
i also wonder. my due date is 9th. was thinking of simply paying on the 19th then or register the PBB card in MB2U? I never tried that though.

according to TNB website no penalty if payment is overdue less than 30 days. i will just wait until the 19th then and pay 10 days late. case closed wink.gif
