previous, i purchased drinks at Starbucks @ Sunway Pyramid (main entrance), and got Dining cashback from m2c amex. MCC was 5813.

yesterday, i reloaded starbucks card by swiping PBB VS. safe to say it's also under Dining too since MCC 5813 is covered?
**update: PBB CS verified the Starbucks Reload was under MCC 5499, not eligible for cashback.

Just sharing, the bank management is getting stricter in appeal cases. Previously I managed to appeal for dining CB at overseas location even though different MCC. Recently, my appeal is rejected even though it is a clear cut dining location. Out of my 6 swipes, only 2 have the dining MCC. So they are strictly following the MCC now, which is okay since that is the T&C anyway.

On a side note, PBB CS remains one of the best in the industry. They appealed on my behalf twice and offered to appeal for the third time. I declined as they have tried their best.

Does the Great Eastern Insurance able to pay online through it website?

Few days ago I asked about the same question, that time I was trying to pay my Tokio Marine's Car Insurance with PBB VS.

Unfortunately there is no portal for us to do so, Tokio Marine is not in the payee list in uobpayonline or posonline.

My workaround is to pay my Car Insurance by swiping AEON BIG Gold card, then later settle this payment with PBB VS card via posonline.  Tricky and mafan abit, and hopefully get 4% (6% - 2% posonline processing fees) cash back.

i strongly agree on this, the convenient fee charged by airasia too damn much, and it charged per ticket not by per purchase.

Since someone has already said this transaction are not entitled for CB, I will use my CB quota for other payments.

Compare with use other cards which give Agoda discount directly (like 5% discount by using www.agoda.com/aeon), I prefer to use Shopback as it gives up to RM55 Cashback for Bookings more than RM220.

I called to pb bank cs and luckily they waived it for me.

Actually it automatically waive if swipe 12x but I seldom use it
