The NS708 has an improved video scaler for 1080p, the previous model, NS78H has Y/C delay and pixel cropping for upscaling to 1080p so Sony went to fix the bugs in this new model. I belum got my unit yet, still delayed but will be released soon.

With a fullhd lcd tv and good upscale dvd player, the picture quality of sd dvd and bluray dvd are that much different. A friend of mine who bought 46" fullhd Sharp Aquos lcd tv. Tested buluray on it, then tested out a sd dvd on his philips hdmi dvd player. Found the different is not that vast especially if you upscale it to 1080p. Know these guy who an elite own a fullhd Benq projector(supposely to be top of its' range) said the different is not that of a big different. Have to agree with brother Sunauto on these matter.

To all the taikor who own 720p projector, I know most of them use PS3 to play buluray. Since the projector is 720p and buluray is fullhd(1080p), won't it be downscale to 720p and not get the full potential of 1080p picture quality.
