I plan to buy a 37" inch lcd (no need full hd) for my new house, which brand/model (budget <RM4k) u recommend? In my mind i got philips, i like the simple design but seldom heard any comment.

I think wat steven means is plasma of cos is newer tech compared to lcd. but for watever reason (cost factor or bottleneck) , the manufacture prefer to invest in r&d for lcd and not plasma anymore. correct me if i am wrong.
