Almost bought the Sharp Aquos 42" (LC-42G7M) for RM9,000 at Gurney Plaza today but held back when a friend discovered it does not have 100Hz Double Frame Drive Technology. He says the 100hz will minimise motion blur & ghosting. I checked Sharp's website and this feature is only available on Sharp's LC46A83M which has a slim-line design.. I watch mainly action movies so I guess this feature is important. I have just discovered this forum and would appreciate any advice before I splurge.

Checked out Philips 42PFL9532.....very impressive.
100Hz for extreme motion sharpness (3ms)

The images are also judder free thanks to HD natural Motion.

What do you guys think of their Ambilight?
That was my only reservation.
