Many shops there. Shop around first. MK is OK as far as the workmanship is concerned but because they are big and have a few outlets in Nilai 3 alone, you might not get the best customer service, as I found out once. One of the smaller shops might be better and deliver the goods faster. One of the smaller shops did my curtains in two hours flat.

But please shop around to find the fabrics that match what you have in mind and read the body language to decide which shop will give you the best customer service.

Nobody mentioned Tewah? Last time I check the price quite reasonable for not-so-simple curtain.

Really? I'm glad to hear that.

Forgot to mention, the railing is heavy duty one.

Any recommendation of curtain seller with good price?

I'm looking for 3 meter TALL curtains. Went to IKEA and they only sell up to 2.4 meter. Went to a few local shops but their price is ridiculous. I'm not looking for anything fancy just clean cut, plain-colored curtains.

Hi there, go to Nilai 3, that is a curtain town where you can find tonnes of it from cheap one to expensive one. One of my favourite one is MK curtain, they have almost everything u need from cheap to imports one.

Also, i am part of a large network of Interior Designers where we are given additional discount (on top of the discount given to walk in customer) when buying from MK (additional 5-20%). Because our network boss and MK curtain boss is good friend smile.gif

If you interested in joining such network, please do register yourself in the topic which i had already posted, its a preview to joining and it is FREE to attend the preview.

Simple, just attend the preview for free, if don't like it, just walk away, no obligation smile.gif

Just to share my experience curtain shopping at Baagus:

Dropped by Baagus (Kota Damansara) the weekend of 15 Jul. Came prepared with window measurements of my entire house. For the record, my house is a 2.5 storey end lot. Meaning that my order, if i engage their service, would have been a decent size order.

Was 'attended' to by the only employee there - her name is Whylie Seak and that she is the manager.

Throughout the entire process of me and my husband browsing the store, her attitude was 'bo chap'. Only responds when questions are asked. My husbands muttered to me - man, she sure is switched off.

Overall, attitude not the most welcoming. For example, i asked if they could provide samples so that i can bring back to match against my walls. Her response was 'Cannot, if we cut samples for every customer, my fabric will look like beggar cloth'. I'm thinking there could be a more tactful way of putting it across to the customers that you don't provide samples.

Anyway, i continued with my fabric selection. My thinking was, i was already there, if i find fabrics that suits my need, just go ahead to get a quote and see if it fits my budget. Only expect the staff to do her job and provide me with a quotation.

I only did a detail check on the quotation when i was home and immediately noticed that the quotation was 'off':

Lliving room has a 3 panel sliding door + 2 panel side window = $1,368.
2nd floor common area has a 3 panel window = $1,566
*Both using the same material

Logic tells me that the smaller area cannot be more expensive than the larger area.

So, i texted Whylie to enquire whether she quoted correctly. Her reply was 'oh, she forgot to quote for the side windows'. No offer to re-quote to include the side windows (my house is an end lot). I had to prod her, telling her please re-quote to include the side windows.

She said she would get back to me but its been a week and no response.

I shudder to think how shitty the customer and after sales service will be.

Better think twice if you are shopping for curtains

baagus business is so good hence the expensive price and shitty service. so far my neighbors are happy with the outcome from baagus though, then again its much more expensive than others. I opted for Mezzo curtain house after some survey, did some wall paper from them as well. In my opinion quite reasonably priced at 2k+ for a 1000sf condo (2 rooms + balcony, full height curtain). My neighbor got a 4k quote from baagus.

Thanks for the feedback. I will check out Mezzo. Checked out curtain place, their customer service is good but I am on the fence about the fabric available though... Just didn't find a curtain fabric in a style I 100% loved.
