Shaw is probably out for the season, even if he recovers it will take time for him to get fit and overcome small annoying injuries that normally come after such a long time out injured

Probably ideally a DM, CB, or if he plays at LB then he has to sit deep i.e. almost a LCB in a 3 CB defense.

Cos he sees 2nd half Swansea scored a goal and had a few good chances. If Ayew and Fabianski had been on target (those are the 2 attempts I recall, might have been more) = we lose by big scoreline at home

Tactics = vulnerable to speedy players hitting us on the counter cos our defenders push up as much as they can "get away with" to support midfield

Physicality = might be vulnerable to tall players, Smalling is the only defender we have who has the height to deal with tall players. If Morgan plays he can help out. Fellaini is tall enough but slow to react, so not sure how useful he is defending against headers, same as Carrick.

LGV should know by now that he shuold play martial in the box and not as a winger.

Young is doing a good job...beating defenders, just need to brush up his crossing accuracy and also get a good player whom can head in goals to be in the box every time Young cross.

Tactics wise, it was good. Swans were playing diamond through the center most of the game, so the players pushed wide. This means less influence from the CMs and wings get more prominence.

Shaw is up on his feet and walking without crutches for quite sometime now. Should be back near to the end of the season.

See how Martial performed in his first few matches.

Whenever LVG found the best position for the players, he will switched him away.

I think lvg mistake to let go nani.. Ive been looking at our past goals in thr last few year ..majority of them are assisted by nani.. unplayable in his prime.. when he was in fc porto.. I can see he is trying really hard to get back to the team.. too bad lvg dont fancy him
