It is the reason I created the "EPL issues" thread. I hope this thread lasts though and people stop opening new ones each time.

So am starting here latest buzz!!!

Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has dismissed claims he's back to his bad old ways after his performance against Arsenal on Sunday.

The Ivory Coast striker was criticised by Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger who suggested that Drogba had been "a bit theatrical" during the pulsating 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

But the Chelsea striker, who missed two gilt-edged chances to help the Blues take all three points against their London rivals, insists nobody can say whether or not he stands up.

The Chelsea forward has managed to silence his critics this season with some fabulous performances and he says much of it is down to being fresher.

Drogba said: "I am more fresh than other seasons. In my first season I had only seven days. Last year I think it was only 15 days, maybe 20.

"This year it was one month. But I want to say this. I always give 100% for my team and nobody can say whether they think I stand up or not, that he's not giving 100%.

"Not since I've been at Chelsea can anyone say that."

Newcastle's Owen backs Chelsea to overhaul Man Utd
Newcastle United striker Michael Owen says Chelsea are good enough to overhaul Manchester United's eight point lead at the top of the table.
"Chelsea have achieved a level of consistency and over the last couple of years and it's difficult to back against them," the former Liverpool and Real Madrid striker told Nuts magazine.

"A lot could depend on what happens with Chelsea in Europe and how they handle trying to win the Champions League."
