Something high in my to-try list.
However, I do have some cleanliness concern about using bathtub in cabana.

Never have I thought about that pre-corona!

Those are pics from last year and January 😅. FCT is the First Class Terminal in FRA. It’s a seperate building to the Senator Lounges

But too bad, seems like there are big chance A380 will not flying again especially from Frankfurt.... less chance to fly F

Read that the A380 will be in MUC if they do decide to operate it. One can book FRA-MUC-XXX with the MUC-XXX in F in one itinerary and still access the FCT if you can work out the timings for a same day departure.

Agree on getting less chance, but to be fair, Lufthansa also have first class in 747-8 and A340-600.
Also there is a possibility to get first class for their upcoming 777-9.

Do note that we can only redeem Lufthansa first class within 14 days with KF / SA miles, it is super hard to find seat availability.
I once found a seat the very next day, haha.
Hardly any of us here is having abundant Miles&More.

In fact, first class is dying soon (and accelerated by Covid).
Do take your last opportunity to fly while it last.
Business class may get better and better, while those in between will opt for Premium Economy.

I took their F on the 747-8. From my observation, they’re pretty reliable on releasing all available seats like 48 hours before departure. Though hot routes to Asia like Singapore are hard to get as they’re normally full.

My flight with them was to MEX, I was lucky at that time there was short period or glitch that they released seats to partners beyond the two weeks. Wanted to have another go in January where two seats to EWR opened up 48 hours before, I had SQ26 booked all the way to JFK, but SQ wouldn’t let me break that journey into SQ+LH as they could not find availability for SIN-FRA even though I was booked on SIN-FRA-JFK.

not a big fan of hilton chain.

marriott bonvoy is the difficult one because they are everywhere.
merging of starwood and marriott is just enormous.

Agreed!

There is a plethora of hotels under the Marriott chain now especially in Asia-Pacific there is a wide range from not so expensive to luxury.

But too bad they din give complimentary breakfast to Ritz-Carlton stay.

I would say hyatt globalist is good considering there are some good park hyatt properties in Asia, including the upcoming iconic park hyatt pnb 118, and you get some free upgrade/lounge entry certificate/ free stay certificate along the way to accumulate your elite status, which neither Hilton nor Marriott offer this

Which is why I never stay at the Ritz. I don't really splurge much on hotels unless I get a good deal so I find Marriott suits this especially well. Most of the places I go too there are a number of hotels from cheap to luxury. T Then again I'm heavily biased towards Marriott so.
