Hilton Diamond here, all my stays pretty much upgraded to at least suite room, except maybe 1/2 stays that the hotel is fully sold out, although they still offer me to suite upgrade for 2nd/3rd day if i am willing to move later

I stay in Niseko hilton in Japan and was upgraded to panoramic suite as well. Never been in presidential suite before, what was the secret to getting that upgrade haha

Suite room is one category above executive room?
*
It depends on the hotel, some hotels got simple category superior-deluxe-suite, some got so many categories like superior-balcany-oceanview-cityview etc...

So a suite maybe many categories higher, not to mention suite vs executive suite

Asiamiles belongs to Cathay Pacific, Enrich Miles belongs to Malaysia Airlines.

For miles earning its kind of complicated but If you fly Cathay Pacific, you can earn either Asiamiles or Enrich miles. Same applies if you fly Malaysia airlines, as both belong to One World Alliance.

As for miles redemption, generally if you plan to fly Malaysia Airlines especially domestic route, you would use Enrich miles as it is still quite reasonable. If you plan to fly any other routes operated by One World airlines, you should use Asiamiles to redeem.

Can any existing HLB VI owner clarify on this? If yes, I would like to apply one for myself too smile.gif Thanks

Yes you can get points for ewallet top up, payments like jompay or governments etc no points. However you can only get enrich miles for HLB VI, no Krisflyer or Asiamiles.

Hi, can I know if I redeem flight by using Krisflyer, is that means I just need to pay the tax and misc fuel charges like MAS? Cos I notice MAS fuel charges is extremely high compare with sg airline, which I don't wish to spend too much of cash to pay
TIA
*
Which route are you redeeming on MAS? As far as I know MAS does not charge fuel surcharge if you redeem via enrich.

Japan, I try osaka or tokyo, both fuel up to RM1700+
*
You are right, there are usually no fuel surcharge when your destination is London / Sydney etc, I am not sure if it only happens for Japan routes, because when I search for Japan routes the page design sort of changed compared to searching London/Aus etc.

If you have KF miles you can redeem it without any fuel surcharges.

HSBC is 1 of the worst offender of "Fine Prints", all of their rewards got very low cap, tons of restrictions, and they assign confusing names such as "Air Miles" as the name of their reward points and makes u think 1 Air Miles = 1 mile on all airline reward program, while in fact its just another name for reward points
