The strap will only break if you let go of the controller, or you intentionally try to break it.

Some people get too excited while playing Wii Sports. They think you have to Throw the wiimote like throwing the bowling bowl etc.

no mods for wii so far yet. but HDLoader is being developed by datel and should be out soon.

Datel is currently working on the wii version, to allow for gaming without region locks.

i would think the region lock would be more for the virtual console since copyright would be an issue with these old games. But who knows what Nintendo is thinking.

Just take note that Western Union is the transaction tool of choice for scammers of all types. Once the money is collected, there is virtually no way for you to get it back.

If the seller says WU only, then be very very wary. Always choose anything else other than Western Union or Money Order if you can.

WU transaction charges are also very high.

go to www.proxy4free.com and setup a proxy for your wii connection. you need to go to the advanced connection settings to setup the proxy.

I've managed to get good speed to the wii shop ever since i used a US proxy. before that connection speed was terrible.

no la.. just set for your wii only.. your other pcs will still connect as usual.

i actually read about that on this forum in another thread, tried it and it works great. Before u use the proxy, do make sure you ping it from your pc first to make sure the connection is good.

Try to avoid buying Wii from Australia or Europe, you will get headache trying to get games locally.
