how much is the wavebird controller (if there's still any) in Malaysia?? unsure.gif

I ask around fora wavebird controller. They are out of stock. Since the original gamecube controller is around RM110. So the wavebirs wil be more expensive. If you want mine. Im selling it for RM30. The catch is you have to fix the circuit in there.

The news is out that Manhunt 2 is going to be banned from the wii because of the AO (Adult Only) rating. So if Take-Two can tone down the violence to make it a Mature rated game. I dont see this game coming to the wii.

Hi, last Saturday was the best day of my life. After watching transformers and coming home late at night. My wife and my best friend surprise me with a wii. This thing is damn cool, never played one before.

The only problem I have now is I have no internet connection yet. So can't transfer wii code. In the end, I played a couple gamecube games that I owned.

Next stop Super smash bros brawl.... Anyone wants a gamecube?

thanks for beat_boyz for the delivery

^ Wiimote can last up to 15-30 hours depending on use. If the game use ALOT of rumble, then your Wiimote will kaput very fast. Also the speaker volume on the Wiimote itself.

I'm using GP1600 rechargables. I like, good, 12 hours charge. But some people recommend Enaloop. Don't see the difference, don't care actually biggrin.gif

Thanks... I'm interested in Energizer e2 AA rechargeable. I haven't seen one around here. Anybody using this?

Just finished watching E3.

The best parts of the show
Wii zapper - light gun enhancement. Quite cheap 20 usd
Metriod prime corruption - looks good.
Smash bros brawl - December 3 ( long way to go)
Mario kart wii - Q1 2008 (includes driving wheel)
I think the best of the show Wii fit (includes with wii balance board). Now can really sweat while playing games

No other titles grab my attention

Hi before I get a Wii I need to clear off one doubt I have regarding modded and unmodded Wii.

Is it correct for me to assume that a modded US Wii will eventually won't be able to play games / become brick as newer games would require an update that will brick the Wii as the old modchip won't be able to hack the system? From the discussion it seems that modded Wii are only good to play homebrew games until Nintendo releases an update that requires the player to update which will brick the Wii or the player won't be able to play any more new games. Do let me know if this assumption is correct? Many thanks.

And the latest price of US Wii unmodded please anyone?
*
It all depends on the modchip not the region of the wii itself. Sorry mod talk about modded stuff here. Just need to clarify some things. New games may/or may not need an update so you can play it. But there are a couple of modchips in the market that can also update the firmware.. From my experience the only game that crapped the modded scene so far is Brawl (SSBB). So far after that most of new games don't require a update to play. And now nintendo is already releasing the wii that can't be modded (so they say, it looks impossible unless you have mad soldering skills)

So buy original...

Mind to share the source of the news that Nintendo is releasing a hack-proof Wii? Might wait for that  smile.gif

It's not hack proof. It's just a bit hard to hack it. Let me see if I can find the sauce... But since the current price of modded wii hasn't not increase. I say the modders are one step ahead of Nintendo. Again, sorry for the modding talk.

No problem bro. Apparently the current modded wii is from the new motherboards. Reported a bit not stable from a friend of mine. So if you can track down the old motherboards that will be better.

Please correct me if I am mistaken, but the aticle in the "sauce" is a year old, it was dated March 2007. Could it be the very good hackers has found a way around the design changes?

Well if you find any I would love to hear it... Please state your "sauce" also. I'm just stating it as it is.
