QUOTE(rx330 @ Jan 10 2007, 08:59 AM) sihum: i need ur feed back on the classic controler, plug in the wiimotte troublesome or not? it means wen paying hte wiimote will be dangling abt? I haven't opened it yet as I don't have any VC titles. What you're supposed to do, is rest the Wiimote between your legs while you're playing, yes it's a hassle, but I also believe that it's long enough to be put into your side(pants) pockets. There was a mod for the Klassik to make the wire go downwards(or was it upwards) because some people didn't like it. and also, the wiimote can play the VC games or not? a portion of it? And yes, Wiimote will, and can be used for VC games, mostly NES(tm) because the NES(tm) only had D-pad, start, select, B, and A(when turned sideways aka NES(tm) style). Where else the Klassik is more universal, in the sense that it can be used for(mostly all) NES(tm), SNES(tm), N64(tm), Sega(tm), and Turbographx-16(tm). It can't be used for Gamecube games. |

Yes, that is correct, the Gamecube controller, and wavebird, is also compatible with some(because I can't confirm), but mostly all VC titles.. Once you're in the Wii Shop channel searching for games, the information provided will be how many players, and what type of control peripherals you can use
I will post pics up when I can, my Mrs. didn't bring the camera up yesterday |

To me, I think it's weird. The ergonomics of the Gamecube cont., but the D-pad is present, and the FAT A, and small B button too, good for NES(tm) games. (as it was also compliant with GBA, Gameboy player for Gamecube)
But you see, KLassik isn't only about VC games, future Wii games would also allow Klassik input.. (I'm hoping Smash Brawl) |

As per rx330's request, here are the pictures.
Wii Play, unopened(sealed), with the Wiimote. ![]() A not so good picture of the Klassik Controller, with size comparison. ![]() Zoomed in shot of the stock Wiimote(left), and the Wii Play wiimote. Do note the thicker string on the hand-strap. Meaning it's the newer batch. ![]() How to differentiate? Left is the stock, right is the Wii Play(newer) Wiimote. See at the side got some printings. ![]() [Edit] Thanks to my darling gf for the camera. This post has been edited by sihumchai: Jan 11 2007, 08:43 AM |

Ugly lar use the skins..
And what I meant was, like the Wii console itself, retailers add in additional costs for Wii Sports, which was supposed to be free. So again, retailers MIGHT charge Wii Play + Wiimote as seperate items see? Sucks huh? Just like DS bundle, charge additional for the FREE game. |

^ Oh? Since when were you interested in d' Klassik?
Still, funny thing about the KLassik is that it has two additional round buttons in between L and R.. Hmm.. me wonders. Krazy, Coriandery, what is it?? |

I'm using GP rechargables. Quite durable. |

QUOTE(alvintan84 @ Jan 11 2007, 02:53 PM) Btw, what's the default battery lifespan in wiimote? I wonder need buy rechargeble batter for wiimote/not Nintendo stated ages ago that Wiimotes should last 30 hours playtime, including rumble and also speaker volume. They are correct, but only good quality batteries allow this. That is why they packaged it with a Panasonic Industrial Type battery to prove us all wrong. You buy el-cheapo Panasonic like I did (RM7.90 x 8 batteries), after one long play session with Red Steel, the fella almost kaput liao. The battery bars drop damn fast(cause alot of rumble, and the damn wiimote speaker damn loud).Invest in rechargables, they'll save you hundreds. |

QUOTE(rx330 @ Jan 11 2007, 03:14 PM) the wiimote has rumble featur ar? so when ever u hit a tennis ball or golf ball it would produce sound and also rumble? Like Zio said, nunchuck has no feeling.wat about the nunchuk? no feelingone ar? But in my opinion, rumble does matter, nomatter what Sony says about not having the rumble will not affect anything, it does. SPraying the Uzi in Red Steel will full vibration in your hand rocks. For Tennis, it's important to know when you actually hit to ball to pull back your hand, and for golf, yeah, strike it too hard the the wiimote will vibrate extra strong because doing an over-powered shot, a slice of a hook will occur, which is actually bad |

If graphics weren't important, why should sound be?
In Wii settings, sound department, there's mono, stereo, and surround. |
