As long ur tv monitor is 26in above, it should be alright..larger than that also still good..But i haven't try out wii on normal monitor tv..dunno how's it..hehe. Currently i'm using my home lcd tv 2play wii, but not a gd brand either

Defitnetly widescreen make overall factor stunning..but it'll cost a bomb too.

It depends on ur preferences..from variety of games to price range..Like myself, i love play all region of games, but since US ver got more game variety& understandable, i choose US ver..thought i also wan 2get Jap wii

Usually, US set more expensive coz more games playable for whole ppl..whereby jap ver not many know 2use the console as well as playing in jap game

It depends on what game u play too..For example, God Of War2 should be awesome in LCD for ps2 while Zelda TP for wii...I'm still figuring out which 2pick, component cable/ HDMI Cable

I don't think can speak about the wiikey too much...since its a jack sparrow gadget..haha. About the wiikey, i didn't use it since i afarid it might brick my wii anytime after installing it. In future maybe consider it.

OT: I also wan play jap wii games...wonder who has jap wii ver here..can take turn play wii 2gether

Purchase earlier= get 2experince earlier (priceless moment& be the 1st 2own in ur neighbourhood). Price of console will defitnely drop, its only the matter of time...

After buying wii, i hv the intention 2buy xbox360& ps3 too, but now hv 2keep $$ 1st..later only decide

If original set, maybe u can get only 1/2games free...unless u get "ahem"

If u mean original, there's a few out there..But if modded, a bit rare thought

U won't regret buying from either of the 3 person there..But b4 that, make sure u got lots of $$ 2spend coz u will see plenty of "interesting" games 2buy later

Hanzo, which wii setting u mean? Itzzit the "Round" Wii button on the bottom left when u start open ur wii? U should be able to enter it with/without internet connection.

If everybody hv nice couch 2seat on during play time, sure comfortable 2play wii for long hours..Too bad i don't hv 1

Follow like what penman say, he's right. If u can't afford it, wan cheaper price& don't mind is 2nd hand set, u can try asking Djinn. Last round he mention he has 1 2nd hand Wii. Try asking him see he still got it/not, the price quite reasonable

OT: I play Cooking Mama sitting at couch lol..Of course Wii Sport can't sit down& play

If u managed 2get connected thru neighbour wifi, u should be able 2enter News as well as Forecast Channel... Long time didn't enter into shopping channel, dunno got what new stuff

Mario Party 8 seems suitable for family gaming, but gamespot review not that gd 2grab it instantly..Dunno should buy it/not
