so far I understand:
virgin NTSC Wii only play NTSC Wii, VC and GC game.
virgin PAL Wii only play PAL Wii, VC and GC game.

Freeloader is use to play cross region GC game only?
There is no way to play cross region Wii and VC game unless modded.
To connect to a PC LCD monitor, you can do it direct if you use component cable.
Will need a VGA box if using VGA cable.
DVI/sub-D connection unknown....
Feedback:
How good are the selection of game on the Japan VC?
Would Malaysian credit card accepted on Japan VC?
I can read Japanese so its not a real bother for me to buy the NTSC Wii.

no, there's no way to play cross region.
yes, you can connect your wii to LCD TV/Monitor that has the component input.
Wii core input support ONLY AV cable (White+Yellow+Red) and Component Cable.
