bundle scanning, wonder what's that?

It's good to have a newer version. My previous v.173 got problems; hangs after download.

Flashget has incorporated BT in the latest v1.8

i hate this too, very annoying~~ will switch back to 1.73 later.

It's annoying and it overtook association from BitComet.

I'm using Flashget to download torrent stuff but very slow.
Any idea?

Try to tweak its default configuration for BT. I didn't use it for BT download.

Do I need to alter the 'Listen Port'? The value now is 25746.
Last time I use BitLord to download torrent stuff and never tweak before.

although i disable Flashget to be a default BT Clients. but it will auto prompt for a new BT task when i download any .torrent files.

'force' windows to open .torrent files using your original BT client rather than FlashGet.

anyone know how to download more than 3 files at one time?

isn't that configurable under options for maximum number of downloads?

Done but it's overtaken again by Flashget ...

i cant make it works, my default BT Clients still BitComet, but if i use flashget to download any .torrent files then it will auto open the torrent file itself


there is a options setting but i forgotten where, try search yourself in every flashget setting

- Tools -> Options
- Click on Other, scroll down, and untick "Associate FlashGet with .torrent files", then click ok "/

Nowadays seems like every software tends to include BT function. Even Opera9 also supports BT by default... quite annoying sometimes

BT is a free protocol, a popular P2P but it seems not very favourable by original software and music vendors.

in my expereince flashget BT client surpasses the 50Kbps local limit by utorrnt. MY torr flies until 160 and avrages at 80-120. so i like this and i have removed the association frm the preferences though... Utorrent gets the respect, and FGet remains the mistress when it comes to BT dloads...

i think he meant utorrent is his primary choice, flashget as a backup.

BitComet has been doing its excellent job for me.
