Should be okay provided that the swing amplitude is small. Some baby doesn't like it. You have to try. Electronic one would be fine, especially the adjustable model.

Guess you are using air cond a lot.
Try to use fan only and let baby sleep beside you. Baby already spend ~10 months in warm condition, they need time to get used to it.
Using buaian are ok, but if they used to it, then another problem.

Too much air cond are very bad for health. Just make sure the room are properly ventilated and reduce air cond's usage. Baby always cry are very bad also. Not to mention the adults that can't sleep properly too.

This won't be long, maybe 1-2 months only, so no worries.

Buaian is ok, as many ppl using it as well.
If you are worry that baby will be too rely on buaian. Try giving him/her buaian when she is having a fuss to sleep. When baby is not making a fuss, let baby sleep on mattress.

Is singing and light pat on the butt can't comfort baby to sleep? I know that there are some baby who are more active at night and doesn't want to sleep that causes baby to throw tantrum when being force to sleep. The reason they can sleep better during daytime is because they have not sleep proper at night.. that's the reason your baby sleep even sweating... too tired. But due to that.. daytime slept enough, again night time hate to sleep. You need to be patient to reset this whole thing.

As for automatic buaian. Is ok to use, but make sure don't let it continue swinging after baby slept. And fyi, that machine didn't last long.. I recall I have spoilt quite a few.

I know that many parents love to keep their baby next to them when sleeping. But I never did that as I quite against it due to safety reason. My son was sleeping on a single bed (with railing) since newborn (for night) and daytime on buaian (sometimes on mattress on the floor of living room). As he was sleeping on single bed, we actually lie down next to him until he falls asleep. We actually induce the idea of his own "habitat", hence he will feel comfortable and easily sleep without fuss and independently switch to single room at a very young age.

Newborn baby is a trial time, you need to try which best suits your baby as every baby is unique. But as the same time do take note that whatever you introduce now will be what you have to tackle in future.. same goes with pacifier.

And not forgetting. Sound play a role too. Analyse the environment and the noises around when your baby sleep. Probably your air-cond room too quiet.. tiny sound can wake baby up.

yep...actually buaian is our last choice..because we don't want to rely on it.now we try to put baby in buaian only when she making fuss to sleep.my baby usually wake up when it is too silent environment.(?)because once got kompang n dj play on front of our house..she sleep well.or i misunderstand the situation?ahaha doh.gif

babies are used to noise as in the mummy its got a lot of noise. talking, breathing, farting, etc... the best is to avoid the buaian. it increases the reliability of dependence and then even more cant sleep *_* unfortunately, nothing can really cure crying baby. especially in the first few months of life.
