Possible to change the dns without getting my phone rooted? I'm using note 5. Don't worry you can go ahead to change without any issues. I change my DNS and working fine.
How? As far as I know, Android doesn't allow change of DNS with mobile data connection, I can only change it in Wi-Fi connection. |

Hi
I think it could have misunderstood your problem. Never mind. I tell you what I change and you see if it is what you want. 1.Go to your Settings, Choose Mobile Networks, Choose Access Point Names. 2.You will see your telco APN example "Maxis Internet" click on the right button. It will display your telco APN 3.Scroll down to Server then input the DNS you want xxx.xx.xxx.xxx, xxx.xx.xxx.xxx 4.Click the More, then click Save. The amended APN will be save. Hope that help. |
