Hi all,

I am going overseas for 3 years and I want to keep my number.

Any recomendation on which prepaid plan ?

Looking for prepaid plan that:-

1. Cheap. lowest rate possible
2. Long validity. Will pay annual pass to keep the number active.
2. No data required.
3. Mainly to receive sms for TAC
4. support eSIM

I will be returning to country one or twice in a year which I can purchase the call and data plan seperately.

overseas go with maxis pantas 365
you need support with maxis roaming partner

onexox is good but it just small mvno
*
Thanks.

I went to Maxis yesterday to buy the Hotlink Pantas and no eSIM for prepaid, only postpaid got eSIM.
Will checkout OneXox.

In country coverage not a concern because the line will be in overseas as long as I can receive sms, it's enough.

onexox no longer attractive to maintain phone line ..you need to regualarly top up to maintain the line...
try Unifi Mobile..RM50 for 365 days validity
*
Unifi don't have eSIM.
I thought OneXoX got the RM28 for 1 year validity ?

Tunetalk Epik only Rm35 for 1 year validity

TuneTalk got Epikcall20, Epik35 and etc.

Which one shall I chose?

IF I port in and bought the Epikcall20, do I just need to go to the app and pay the RM35 for 1 year validity ?

yes...but still need to top up

I had been reading the OneXOX thread, the information quite confusing.
If bought the Welcome Pack 28+8 then need to top up every 120 days.
Some posting said after bought the RM28 1 year validity, no longer need to top up every 120 days.
Now I dunno which is which.

Hi all,

Need recommendation.

I have 2 lines.

U-mobile - Unlimited data and call. (eSIM)
Unifi Bebas Prepaid (Sim Card)

I want to convert the prepaid to eSIM.

Any recommendation on which prepaid plan ?

Looking for prepaid plan that:-

1. Long validity. Will pay annual pass to keep the number active.
2. No data required.
3. Can purchase Talk Time and Data that follow the line validity
4. support eSIM (This is a MUST)

tune talk (tahunan plan) is the only option with esim
*
But Tunetalk don't have the Add-on for Data and Call Talk Time like Unifi Bebas.

unifi bebas never has esim support also

if you dont need esim you can also look into hotlink pantas as well
*
I need eSIM.

If no eSIM, Unifi Bebas is the best for me.

Ya. I wasted the $10 getting the OneXOX. But I did port over to TuneTalk successfully.

Ahh yes. Looking back at the previous page, it's the same repeated ask for recommendation....lol.
Anyway...I have no issue with xox tnc change, just pay RM25 for one year validity.
*
Not repeated question.

That line went overseas.

This is another line.

MNP to onexox costs RM10 while MNP to other telcos / mvno are usually free.

This is enough to block list XOX already.

Convert your another number to tune talk or stick with unifi mobile better
*
Unifi Bebas is just perfect for me except no eSIM support.
There is no expiry date except the need to make a call every few months to keep the line active.
Since I already have unlimited data on Umobile, I just need to buy the 200min Talk Time.
So it is the most cost-effective way to keep the line.
Just so sad it doesn't support eSIM.

I am hoping there is another telco that can offer the same with eSim support.
I don't mind paying a bit extra for line longevity.

Yeah, most telco do not want to have such plan as to them it is just for people to park their number without generating revenue. Eventually Unifi also do not offer Bebas plan anymore.
Just keep the Unifi Bebas sim for as long as you can, since it suits your usage.
*
TM no more offering Unifi Bebas plan. Else I no need to go TuneTalk.
And that line was using Unifi Bebas and port to Umobile last year.
Sigh.
TM so big why can't they offer eSIM.
