I checked it out as well as i'm in similar boat.
The 5GB/year seem good, but the sim itself need at least $10 per month to keep the sim active.


What about tune Tahunan 99 ($99 per year, sim valid for 1 year ; 24gb data every month [up to 2gb per day]) ... any thoughts on this for car usage?

I took the maxis plan, convert to pantas then get the 365 active add on ... now my sim valid 1 year, but zero data (internet) ..... lol

edit:

oh, the 5gb is the top up 10rm? .. i thought the sim 10rm + 30rm for the active.. lol
