sifu sifu sekalian, any idea which prepaid allow auto reload monthly or stg to maintain 'validity'? so far i think yes5g allows, rm2 auto topup every month which would make up rm24 a year. currently using hotlink pantas 1 year validity at rm30. but in case i forget to topup, so finding alternatives.

hi, i am holding to one xpax celcom , with validity 2 years option, but lately something is auto draining my credit for data, even when my data is off and only wifi.
wondering if i can port to any that has long validity and basic data every month?

The very old xpax long ago which got 2 years extension option rm50, if connect to 4G telco signal will be treated as using PAYU internet data and daily money max rm10 deducted, to avoid this, have to lock to 2G signal ,if the celcom sim doesnt hv internet data plan, it is advisable do no top up much money in prepaid sim. Though complain to celcom, they said cant do much, advice to switch to nrw plan which doesnt hv 2 years validity

i manage to fix it by deleting all data drivers from the phone and lock to 2g, but just want to put into a newer phone due to battery

Currently am working abroad. I just realised that I forgot to topup and renew my hotlink 365 days plan. I tried to contact hotlink, but not to avail. Anyone please help me how.. i really need to retain my number..

If the number has been terminated, only way is to go to Maxis centre to get it back. Maybe have to use postpaid for 6 months before convert back to prepaid.
Maybe can try ask your family member to go and buy that number.

i just registered xox prepaid and bought 1 yr validity, then only found out new prepaid can't buy season pass.

this is my 2nd line, seldom use it so looking for beyond 30 days data plan.

what are my option within xox for data plan beyond 30 days? or jump ship to other telco?

Last year the 1 year validity was still RM25. But now it's gone up to RM48. I'm looking for other offers.

does this still work? I used to be able to buy this via digi app , recently the validity is up and i wanted to purchase it again but it doesnt show in apps and the *128# method doesnt work either.

Called DIGI customer service , they said the plan isnt available anymore. What now ? i only want number validity.

switch to XOX then only found out their TnC has changed...

look at Unifi Mobile the RM 10 validity only 7 days..

Which is the cheapest longest plan available? TuneTalk couldn't find their RM 30 for 365 anymore

Hi I am looking for long validity ( at least 1 year) prepaid ( or postpaid) plan for IoTs, especially sim based CCTV. Don't consume much data, probably 5 gig can last 2 years (occasional viewings) but there are some specific requirements:

1. the telco must offer 5g and 4g (most cams using 4g) because certain telcos such as Yes are hopeless for 4G.

2. once the sim is placed in the cctv, it is very inconvenient to reply to or use SMS for buying/extending plan purposes. I say this because if you take Hotlink Pantas 365 for example, firstly the phone app can only handle 1 line at a time, got to log out for another line and everytime you log in, it sends a TAC to the number for you to retrieve and successfully log in. This is not possible if I have 4 or 5 such Pantas 365 lines!

I really miss Yoodo for its simplicity, plans and ability of the phone app to handle multiple lines and best of all, its email based permissions.

Any ideas? I need to get 4 or 5 sims in 4 or 5 cctvs in very different locations and need the plans to be autorenewed (Maxis cannot do that in Pantas prepaid for monthly plans) or at least 1 year prepaid validity for each plan and using about 5 gig per year each. Problem will start after 1 year, all SIMS will have to be taken out of the cctv and placed into the phone for plan extension.

Obviously, I want the cost to be reasonable say 60 bucks per sim per year.

There has go to be an easier way!

For hotlink, can I buy the 1 year validity and the price of 5GB 1 year validity together? Means total RM40 for 1 year , right?
