Requirements for Admission to the MBA Programme

Qualifications

Applicants must normally be graduates of an approved University holding at least a second class honours degree or a relevant professional qualification considered equivalent to a first degree with honours.

Work Experience

Applicants are expected to have three or more years of full time management or leadership work experience, normally gained since graduating from their first degree.

English Language Requirements

Either

    An International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of at least 7.0, with a minimum score of at least 6.0 in each of the four individual elements of the test

Or

    A Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)

          o A score of at least 600 with a Test of Written English (TWE) score of at least 5.0, or
          o Computerised test equivalent of 250 with a TWE of 5.0, or
          o TOEFL Internet Requirements 100 with 21 in all elements;

    together with a Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) of at least 600 with an Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA) score of at least 5.0.

Sometimes applicants with a low IELTS or TOEFL score may be made an offer which is conditional on attending and passing a preparation course at the University's Centre for English Language Education at the required standard.
