QUOTE(Melon @ Mar 17 2008, 01:13 PM) 25 hours workshop by fly in professors from MBS UK. That's why it is exactly the same quality of a fulltime program with 2/3 cheaper. ouch didnt know u will be there, plus i have to hurriedly go back. i was told by one of the sunway staff that is all hyped. lolI'm not sure about Nottingham, but Manchester requires project/dissertation which i think it really test your ability and the quality of the MBA you've taken. For the project, a mentor will be assigned to every student to make sure that you are on track on the title you have selected. Anyway, Nottingham is catching up the ranking list which is good news. A good choice too p/s: aiya, u shud let me know u r attending the info session ma...i was der after that attending the project/dissertation briefing. but the price still too expensive, after the discount its like 84 K. Added on March 17, 2008, 4:39 pmthe 25 hours is fine, i went to sunway booth, and they telling me victoria is equally good. lol I told him about the ranking, but he say the ranking is not really important and has been like misinterpret by others. I wish they held class in the city centre, i mean manchester one. i am doing support for some big system here, somemore the class start like 6.30 or somehting like that, quite diffuclt for me to rush back. QUOTE(Melon @ Mar 17 2008, 04:46 PM) HUH??? u mean Dr Benson told u all these??? Or from Manchester Sunway's staff??? sunway staff, somemore someone. anyway, when der's workshop, u hv to apply for leave.....u talking about Nottingham is it, class starting from 6.30?? coz MBS doesn't. For tutorials which are not compulsory coz not all centres has dat.....it will start at 7pm....normally 3 times per module....anyway.....jz find out more about everything at Nottingham, best to find someone studying der.... one more good thing about MBS is it won't be affected if you've been posted to work overseas...... (which i hv s'thing on my sleeve now...shhh) and the oversea thing is a big big problem for me, and this is where this manchester suited me. but its 84 K. the thing is, during the information session, they seems to talk more about how well known is manchester than talk how they conduct classes in msia. thats annoy me, as making me feel i am buying the cert back with money. |
