The Top business schools dont have triple accredition. Its only the 2nd tier that give importance to it as a means of getting recognition. In Malaysia, we have very limited choices hence the importance of choosing a triple accredited MBA amongst other reasons. The main reason would of course be the MBA itself and its speciality.
Hi, not sure whether this thread is still active, I guess most of us don't go to forum anymore.I have decided to start my MBA this year, after working for 10 years and currently would like to learn new skills (especially people management, marketing, strategy) for better career advancement from prestigious university, as I already hold 2 certs from UKM (Bachelor degree in nutrition and post grad dip in dietetics), I hope to obtain oversea cert, but not cap ayam university.
after attended Strathclyde mba preview, after giving few thoughts about it, I still cant make up my mind which uni should I choose.
for me the cons for Stracthclyde would be, their ranking in FT MBA is slipping these few year, almost drop out of 100, the latest is 98, and overall ranking also not high (401-500th according THE), I understand we should look at MBA ranking instead of overall, but by paying big amount 73k, I will really look into value for money.
referring to your opinion, it's clear that Strathclyde is 2nd tier uni (according to ranking) therefore recognition means a lot for them (triple accreditation).

if we look at best university for business degree according to THE, even UM rank better compared to Strathclyde, rank 301-350th in THE best university, accredited with AMBA, MBA cost 28k, so I really don't see a reason to pay such high price of 73k to study MBA in Strathclyde.
since my main objective is to get oversea MBA degree, my budget max will be around 70k, other options would be Lancaster, and Nottingham, which I see they rank top 100 in business study, and I also wonder whether Monash offer MBA as I didn't see it in their website. so far in my mind, I will think that Nottingham and monash will be a good choice, in terms of value for money.
hope to get more opinion from you and also others who did MBA before, thanks in advance!
