My take is to look into the quality of the courses.
My friend used to take the UTM MBA course and found the students/class to be highly competitive and the lecturers are OK. (They are not easy lecturers)
If you want to to take it up further, companies sometimes (especially the larger corporations) look at the university that offers the MBA class itself. Brands such as Insead are highly looked upon - these are among one highly ranked MBA schools in the world. Of course, there is the different fees that you have to pay.
Similarly ... checkout where does our Malaysian MBA schools stands in the ranking. This should assist you to determine which school should you select if you are looking for quality education. No of hours definately does not determine the quality of the education.
