"hm but what can u do wor DBA.. i thought they hardly hire MBA without experience but then for a DBA u must be having like some kind of 10 years quality experience then?
out of the rat race.. i'm assuming more money?
but what if let say person A and B
A has a DBA
B has an MBA
so.. if both of them were holding the same position doing exactly the same things giving equal contributions.. will the one with DBA get paid more? or the same since their performance are equal? "
DBA has their own purposes and value. You have to find out your own

and how to maximize your investment into this. I m still seeking a suitable DBA for me now because I strongly believe it will benefit me strategically for my own path in the next 25 years. Throw away your currently thinking, don't ask why you need a DBA and how much it paid (end up it depends on people capability), you should ask why you want to be a DBA? what value it bring to you and how it can assist you to achieve your destiny.
Even we get a double PHD, when we r measured by result(thats why experience and out of study knowledge is crucial), people will know how capable we are and even triple phd, if we can't deliver task, useless....but surely can teach if phd
