Hi I completed my MBA about 11 years ago.

Before I did it, I went thru a lot of research and subsequently published the course list on the web. That old site is still there : http://netmba.tripod.com/

Although the MBA list is not there anymore, the site contains articles on why and how to choose your MBA. Do check it out.

I had also uploaded completed, Grade A assignments in PDF format for MBA students to refer to.

And if you ask me whether the MBA has helped in my career. The answer is yes. It has helped to be a better manager and leader, that in turn has helped my career advancement. Please keep in mind that MBA is not an instant passport to riches (unless you're getting yours from Harvard or Wharton or something in the same league).

BOS as what UCSI does?
Hmm I've check out the MBAs from Strathclyde, Nottingham, Monash, & UM.
Seems like all of them require working experience prior to admission ?

UM--> http://fba.um.edu.my/index.php?option=com_...d=70&Itemid=143
Nottingham --> http://www.nottingham.edu.my/Business/Cour.../mba-entry.aspx
Strathclyde --> http://www.strath.ac.uk/mba/admissionsinfo...issionsprocess/

How do I get an MBA without any working experience?

Why dont you work for a while first? MBAs are meant for those who have worked for several years prior, else you will not be able to appreciate the course content. Moreover lecturers will ask for opinions during class and they expect real life answers. There are also case studies to read and discussions, without work experience, it will be hard for you to contribute and join the discussion. That means you will not be able to get real value for the money you pay and the time you spend doing it. I did mine only 7 years into my career.

I started by MBA journey 20 years ago, in July 1997 - yes! right when the moment Thai Baht collapse that started the Asian Financial Crisis!

When I was researching on which MBA courses was available back then came up with the list of courses available in Malaysia. After that I published in on a website and was offering free advice to people wanting to do MBA.

The website still exist after all these years [ I had stopped updating it some time in 1999 i think ]

http://netmba.tripod.com/

In this website I wrote about what are the key considerations when choosing and doing your MBA and until today, the fundamentals are still the same.

I did consider places like Harvard, unless sponsored by an employer, the fees are just way too high for some salary earner in Malaysia, I think that still applies today.

So in the end, I did the so-called toughest MBA in town back them - the MIM-Bath University MBA, part time 2 years course, all weekend classes, 9am to 7pm, with 3rd semester residency in Bath University in UK in Semester 3.

Graduated with Distinction and top of the class of 44 persons and earned 2 awards along the way.

And yes, my MBA did help in my career but it was NOT an instant success i.e. I didn't get a big pay rise or promotion when I graduated ..... just so that you guys can set your expectations right - MBA is not a means to get rich quick.
