Hi all,

There are just too much too read & very interesting I'd say smile.gif I am currently surveying around for MBA which suits me best in terms of location, budget and quality. Still not much clue.

Btw, University of Strathclyde by CDC Management sounds very good but 50k sounds a bit too expensive if compared to other UK MBAs. Not to mention the parking rates there too in Phileo. If it is not budget constraint, I'd be enrolling already.

Anyhow, anyone going to the Postgradasia fair these weekends? Anyone out there seriously considering MBA in year 2009?

Less than 30K will be good enough for local MBAs only.

I am looking more for UK MBAs, maybe more chances to get employed in MNCs and get sent there? drool.gif
Because my current degree is local degree. So, somehow got that dream to get one which is not local. unsure.gif

Anyway, very confused. Gonna prepare myself a checklist for the fair these weekends.

As for local MBA, was considering but recently saw some of the class preview, don't really like the environment. Wonder other uni the same or not.

I would like to do MBA asap. getting old d. hehe... because kept on delaying it.

Most probably MBA from UK uni.

Based on this multiple pages forum, seems like SEGI not bad.

I have not much idea till now. SHall go to the postgrad fair and find out more.

My consideration would be location (because need to take public transport). ALso not to forget, that particular MBA must be approved by ministry of edu (to get KWSP withdrawal ).

How about youU?

I guess nothing comes cheap these days.

Well, looks like I'll see the Postgradasia fair first. Maybe I am not ready because I don't really know yet what I want. I guess the same goes to you? As you were saying "how much it will help me is a question for me."

fanstay,
which line u now in? If u r in banking or finance, i am sure it will help, if not immediately.
I am in engineering, electronic design, and want to shift to kind of managemnt or corporate strategy ...which is switching field.
I havent make up my mind which minor o take and still in dilemma want to fork out more money for an oversea MBA which also can not gurantee better return.
Besides Segi, which college do u consider now?

Background of IT. Currently, dealing lots with audits from various industry. So, it is kinda a mix.

Any other college to consider? Will survey tmr there itself. Since most of them are there.

Hi,

Any experience you could share with us on this? I heard about it and kinda costly too right?

I have only about 3 years working experience, cannot afford the more expensive ones.

MIM at Ampang is the one of the best management schools previously before merged with INTI. even today am believe MIM is still the top management school to study. their direction is similar to Singapore Institute of Management.

am recall at one time (don't know whether today still the same) MBA graduates from CSQ, their market value was dropped when seeking for employment. those who working in HR industry, should know the story best. so choose the right MBA.

Sorry, CSQ?
