I currently have 3 years working experience under my belt in IT, technical position.. I am dealing with more people and there are a lot fo more human interaction n meetings and project management elements getting into my line of work.. I'm enjoying it but at times I'm really banging my way here and there when it comes to group management co's I don't really get much practice of this when I was shooting for my degree. I am thinking to pursue MBA to work on group management and team playing skills, as well as shifting my mindset and point of view from a closed minded, "accept as it is" vertical thinking to a broader, more lateral thinking ..
For those who are taking MBA currently, would it help me achieve what I want? On the other hand, what prompted you guys to go for MBA, and so far how do you find it .. as in does it really help get you closer to your goal?
Just a thought though that MBA may help in employability on the paper, but I guess when one pursues MBA one should focus on building personal skills and use that as the ultimate leverage to make oneself more marketable instead of the extra qualifications on the CV .. my 2 cents
