check out Inti - Coventry's MBA. One of the cheaper MBAs yet still widely recognized. Fully assignment based and no exams. Classes on weekday nights + a weekend daytime as well (Part time 2-3 classes a week only each is 4 hours). their campus is in Subang Jaya. I'm about to finish my MBA already (2 yrs part time) and learnt tons from it. === on a side note if anyone here is free help me complete my questionnaire k.. for my MBA final thesis: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd...kIyrBw/viewformThis post has been edited by Davidtcf: Jul 5 2017, 03:50 PM

QUOTE(cybermaster98 @ Jul 5 2017, 04:18 PM) Widely recognised by whom? And how did you arrive at this conclusion? Coventry University is ranked 15 in UK for the year 2017: https://www.timeshighereducation.com/featur...iversities-2017sorry maybe I used the wrong term "widely recognized". I withdrew what I just said. This post has been edited by Davidtcf: Jul 5 2017, 04:35 PM

QUOTE(cybermaster98 @ Jul 6 2017, 10:42 AM) For MBA programs, you must always compare to the Global Ranking for the associated business schools. Not country based ranking. As per my earlier comment, the Top 3 MBA programs currently available in Malaysia are: 1) Asia Business School in collaboration with MIT Sloan - business school Global Ranking 13 2) Sunway Lancaster MBA - business school Global Ranking 42 3) Strathclyde MBA - business school Global Ranking 80 I couldn't find Coventry's business school in the 2017 FT Global Top 100. Not sure what rank are they. If I were you, I would have opted for Sunway Lancaster MBA at the very least. I work in Inti Subang thus is why I took it.. Staff got massive discount thats why. Else I wouldn't pursue it the first place. Got the MBA cert better than not having it no? In the end depends on budget also.. you wanna pick the top universities then prepare to pay more $$ as well. Either family sponsor or you work high enough to pay for it.

QUOTE(danny88888 @ Jul 6 2017, 02:36 PM) Coventry University always become the laughing topic for another University in the same neighbourhood. Mind you not only the student does this, even the Professors do it too. I learnt a lot from it and it changed me as a person. I grew up lacking many soft skills due to my dad spending very little time with me in the past + not I'm not a guy who socialize a lot. Not only did I learn how the business world thinks, also how it operates and why.. also read many past and present case studies, did many debates, discussions etc. Even force myself to study the 'finance' subject and manage to get a credit for it. It isn't an easy course and requires good time management as well. Finally, regardless of your criticism or others, most important is I feel it benefited me (even my classmates agree when I asked all of them). I met some really good lecturers and friends there too. It's the overall journey that matters in the end.. sometimes you cannot depend so much on reviews and rankings but just go for it if you feel it's right. All MBA courses have a "preview" period too where you can sit in their classes for free and only pay when time is up / you're satisfied with it.
