Hi,

Perhaps my two cents of advise can help considering that I am a Strathclyde Alumna myself.

The difference with doing Lancaster with Sunway is its dual award which means that having the triple accreditation from Sunway is equally important considering that the award is from both.
With Strathclyde under CDC will be a bit different considering that award will only be coming from Strathclyde (triple accredited) which means that CDC not being triple accredited is not really that important.
Obviously Sunway is not triple accredited and it doesn't matter at all. Its a dual award meaning you get 2 certs hence nobody would bother with the Sunway degree anyway. You just need the one from Lancaster and that's all that matters.

The downside to Strathclyde I guess is in its FT world rankings. 30 spots below Lancaster which is a relatively big gap. Lets see how the 2016 rankings look when it comes.

Do you have a bachelor degree? If yes, what's your CGPA?

If no, there's something called Industrial PhD that is offered by selected institution.

You can check it out.

Latest Financial Times MBA ranking is out !
Three Singapore's business schools are ranked to the top 32 globally!
If you are interested to find out more about those schools, please feel free to ask me, I am more than happy to help.
FYI, I am not an agent but just a student in one of the school

Wow! Nice to see INSEAD at No 1 beating even Harvard.

And the highest ranked MBA program in Malaysia is still Lancaster which has moved up 15 spots to No 35 in the global rankings. Strathclyde is the 2nd highest ranked in Malaysia at No 63 in the world.

Hello, I lost track of this thread 2 years ago after moving to SG from Australia. Planning to take on MBA in Malaysia due to cheaper cost and also I have accommodation and car in KL. Was thinking of doing full time in Nottingham initially but it seemed like Lancaster MBA and the Strathclyde MBA are the more recommended ones here. Any advice regarding this ?

Best in country is currently Lancaster - Sunway. The current batch has got a good mix of high level professionals from various industries.

Are you going to be travelling back and forth from Australia to Malaysia during the course? Lancaster and Strathclyde MBA in Malaysia are both part time.

There are exams and workshops quite often with the Lancaster MBA, so you need to check if it suits you.

I plan to do it in Malaysia. So traveling shouldnt be a problem. I'm actually a pharmacist in both Australia and Singapore and I can get a pharmacy license in Malaysia and work too if I want to. Pretty much have accomodation and transport settled anyways, just looking for a school to study. Wonder how much would a MBA course in Lancaster cost me ?

You have plans to return to work and leave Singapore?
MBA is more about networking, otherwise you can do online MBA with Warwick don't have to travel.
