Do I use a hairdryer and blow on the fins then twist it right and left until it comes off? Thanks. Dust cause Artic Cooler dead.

I also would like to know if Zalman VF700Cu is compatibale with future cards. I'm now using ATI Radeon 9800 Pro. What about the Zalman VF900Cu? Will it be compatible with my card? Its quite expensive for the card and I'm hoping if I upgrade I can still use the fan with the new card. Very much thanks.

U could stress the card by running window application then shut down..

before the paste cooled off ... removing the cooler would be easier ....

about the compatibility issue u could check out the zalman site...

try to stress your card using tool like ATI Tool... your memory chip will heat up and peel it off will be easier. dont use hair dryer if possible because the heat from the hair dryer will damage your card. only use it if u really know what r u doing.

about zalman vga cooler, it is better for you to get VF900Cu because it have more fin and fan controller, alot of improvement in performance compare to vf700. btw, vf700 and vf900 can support almost every card in the market except those latest Geforce 8800 series.

And be very careful, as you don't want the ramsink to drop on the motherboard or any other hardwares board as this will help some "Short Circuit" to happen... sweat.gif
