I have been trying to look for a compact for my wife at a price range for about rm 1200-1300.

after reading the material on-line i more or less settle for Finepix F30 -- largely the ISO 3600 ability attracts me. at that ISO it could be a little grainy but i like to have the flexibility.

1) yr thots?

2) used it before and share your experience please?

4) best place to get one in Klang valley?

1) I think highly of F30. If there's one camera I can choose, I'll definitely choose this. No point to buy other camera if cannot take indoor picture.

1) probably best indoor P&S cam around. works best in M-mode
2) bought it in Oct in time for raya, nephews' wedding & my new born child. took plenty of indoor shots & many keepers so far. i also do PP around 70% of the photos to get the best results
3) it was RM1299 then. maybe cheaper now since F31fd is already out
4) try photo shangri-la BTS

i might add that for yr wife perhaps F20 is more suitable & easier to handle

RM1180 in Billion KL Plaza..thats the cheaperst so far without xD Card.

With F 31 out, still at RM1180?

3 months back, best price I got was RM1200 with 512 Mb xD card
