flight simulator with a mouse? doh.gif doh.gif just no..

entry level
logitech attack 3 +/- RM80---basic flight stick but good overall for starter
logitech extreme 3d pro +/- RM150---i recommend if you are new.twist handle for rudder.NEWBWIN!
genius maxfighter f17/metalstrike 3d +/-RM70-RM120---generic driver support,not recommend
TM USB flight stick +/-RM250---just no,warranty problem, price vs performance down the drain
TM T.16000M +/-RM350---super precision (high resolution) but again like what mentioned above

medium (basic hotas)
TM Hotas X +/- RM200---basic hotas system,price wise
Hori Flight Stick 2 +/- RM500---ps2 usb,but have driver for winxp-win10,better grab TM Hotas X,cheap plastic feel.

pro (hotas)
Saitek x45 +/- RM450---old system,very reliable,can get 2ndhand on ebay
Saitek x52 pro/non-pro +/- RM600-RM700---x45 upgrade,available in Msia (ask auntie CK Multimedia biggrin.gif )
Saitek x65f +/- RM1800---superb
TM Hotas Warthog +/- RM1800---USAF certified

pro (yoke/rudder pedal)
Saitek Eclipse +/- RM500
CH Product/Saitek Pro Flight Yoke +/- RM800
CH Product/Saitek Pro Pedal +/- RM600

Wow! Thank you very much for such a detail info.
Last time I used to have a joystick but keeps breaking down. sad.gif
Maybe pull to many Gs. tongue.gif
Can't remember the brand but it broke down too often to an extent that I rely on keyboard when playing F16 Fighting falcon and Raptors. (yes I know quite long time ago).
Now I begin to find some interesting flight sim, like War Thunder and was flying using mouse bcos I don't know which one is reliable and reasonably price. CK Multimedia, you were referring to the 1 just shifted to Aeon Big next to Subang Parade? I did pay the auntie a visit but what she sell are those for 'advance' player which is quite expensive.

Any Idea where I can get the logitech attack 3?
Went to Sunway Pyrimad just now but can't find any for PC. Only those type like for PS game console.

Thank

Hi, My son just bought me a logitech Extreme 3d pro joystick. biggrin.gif (and not the other way round like father buy son a joystick!)

Anyway, I tested the joystick (war thunder) and found that its kind of hard to pull negative G and slow in pulling positive G. Is there any way I can calibrate it?

I can't find them anyway in War thunder.

Thank you.

Update. I think I solved the problem. Downloaded and installed the driver. Thanks anyway. laugh.gif

for arcade style, you can try free 2 play MMO like War Thunder..others,like Tom Clancy's HAWX 1 and 2,Ace Combat Assault Horizon,Jane's Advance Strike Fighter

if you are more into simulator, go for FSX Steam Edition,Xplane10..or maybe Digital Combat Simulator with modules they offered

Ace combat as in PS?
I played that before but i find it not being realistic enough.
So are Battlefield series. The play field is too narrow/small to my liking. I have seen some posted videos on You Tube and the game play really turn me off - performing some impossible stunts.

War Thunder air battle does have its flaw too but over all I find it has an interesting game play. The developer actually do research on those warplanes that are feature thus very close to real thing.

May i ask which air combat simulation game you played and why?

Thank you.

Because those 2 i recommended is not really a flight simulator. AC is an arcade flight shooter, BF is a FPS with multiple vehicle options.

It is quite common nowadays that everyone's pc have the Steam app where you can find Steam's store which have lots of games, of any genre.
