QUOTE(arubin @ Dec 12 2015, 08:35 AM) I won't ever get a tattoo though. Means I can never soak in onsen again when I visit Japan. Many people aren't actually aware of this rule... That's a myth la, I went japan before, I was at arima onsen one of the most famous in the country, this jap guy with a full back dragon tattoo walk past me and no one complained.

QUOTE(arubin @ Dec 12 2015, 02:17 PM) I've also been to Arima. I didn't see a single tattoo. That place has quite a number of onsens. Which one did you go to? The main one when u reach the resort by bus not one of the hotel ones. It has a very family atmosphere so I was surprised to see a heavily tattooed guy. No one seemed to mind though. The really topkek thing was they had signs saying not allowed to vera in onsen, we all know that is targeted at prcs.
