Using my cc for autodebit paying celcom postpaid bills. Celcom give 5% for autodebit and hoprfully get 2% cb for 7% total cancelling out 6% gst with 1% extra. Lets see if it works this way. Get 5% only ready nice.

Guys, as a first time cc user, i don't really understand how it works, esp for the finance charge. Lets say today i bought something worth rm500. And when i got statement end of the month(early next month?) I pay only rm250. So the next two month finance charge will be applied to rm250 is it? I need to pay rm253.75. Am I correct? Will it reflects as not good payer in ccris?

Thanks for the clarification guys. No, this is not for a long term. As the raya is just around the corner, i might, might spending a bit more than usual hence come the question. Else I will be using the card for petrol and bill payment, etc to get some cashback, thats it. So far i use card for petrol, the night or tomorow I already pay the amount used into the card before the post date.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 26 2016, 01:46 PM) No need to pay right away because you are not utilizing the free 20-day interest period. Just pay statement balance in full by due date, then you will be OK. I'm not clear on this. 20 days interest free period is after statement date? And after this 20 days it is due date? |
