How long have you considered?

Why not last time when got RM100 or RM200 welcome bonus? If I not mistaken la because when I applied it last time, got RM200 welcome bonus after swipe few times.

I don't know how many months exactly but I kept holding it off because I thought I didn't really need it. Gah such a loss. I wish I found out about it sooner. sad.gif

Received a call from CIMB at 4.31 PM (already missed 3 calls this morning) and the CIMB staff asked me about my preferred address. My application has been approved! rclxms.gif rclxm9.gif icon_idea.gif

Better deliver the nearest card center and you go collect it yourself if you need it fast smile.gif

The last time I Request for self collection, CS said they only send by post.
*
Yeah I did ask if I could collect the card myself at the branch but the staff said that option is unavailable. I applied for the card at the branch.

Because if one uses CIMB CR to pay bills via PosOnline can get cash back.

Too bad I still haven't received my card so I don't know how much is my credit limit yet. Zzzzz... How long did it take for the card to reach you after approval?

Up to you because the nett cash back is the same. Well, I don't use CIMB CR to pay my phone bills so can't comment much simply because 2% is too little for me. laugh.gif

I see... In that case I'll just use standing orders to avoid the POSOnline-related issues then. I'm thinking of applying for the U O B V O X card too coz I heard it gives better rebates for online payments. See how first lah.

You can see the credit limit in your CIMB Click if it is already linked.
*
Oh, the bank will do the linking for us? I thought we had to do it ourselves. Thanks fruitie!

Edited: Eh sorry, I misunderstood your message. I get it now, you meant after we linked it ourselves. Lol.

Well, mine is auto-linked by CIMB, I didn't do anything because I have existing CIMB Click account.
Though some of the cardholders here also have but still need to link themselves.
*
I see... How long did you have to wait for your CIMB CR card to arrive after approval?

I cannot recall mine because it is more than a year ago but I guess within a week should be reasonable. smile.gif
They sent to my hometown address instead of my office address which I insisted and they went and used Poslaju, so nobody can help me to collect on behalf because nobody was at home when they sent.
Anyway, long story short, it was routed to my office via Poslaju too.

Hmmm it's been 10 days since I received the call from CIMB informing me that my application was approved. I requested for it to be delivered to my home address, so supposedly it shouldn't take that long because my home and the CIMB branch I went to is just a 10-minute distance, more or less. I guess I'll give them a call soon.

It doesn't matter how close you stay to the branch. The card will still be sent out from HQ.
Unless you request to be delivered to the branch, maybe it will be faster.

And CIMB usually sent thru snail mail and that is usually slower and potentially missing like in my case before. I finally got it after 1 month.

I seeee.... HQ meaning KL right? In that case, I will have to wait longer because I live in Kota Kinabalu.
