Do you mean below method didn't work for CIMB CR anymore?

yes, confirm can get cash back by paying Aeon credit card at PosOnline from UOB Vox, PBB VS & CIMB CR (principle & supplementary cards)

Looks like not all transactions under PosOnline (not only limited to AEON payments) with CIMB CR are entitled for 5%, there are chances to fall under 2%...

VOX will be better and straight forward if transactions above RM 50. sweat.gif

If fall under 2%, we still have to pay 2%+GST to PosOnline, means we are actually making lost for this transaction... ranting.gif

Lost as in a few cents? But you can extend your due date and invest elsewhere to cover the lost icon_idea.gif

Received my CR card last month or 25th of May to be exact (applied on early of May). But today when login to cimbclick, saw Petronas Platinum was added there. I'm pretty sure the card is on its way to my house already.

But as many advise earlier, I think gonna make a call to cancel hmmm. Read from previous few threads, why la CIMB like to to practice this...

Hi Guys,

CIMB Cash Rebate Platinum CC user here.

Wanna ask, the advertisement / Website got show that pay TNB Bill using this card (via standing instruction) will get 2% cash rebate.

The question is...... how we gonna set this ?

I went to CIMB Clicks , Pay Bill --> Register AutoPay --> Choose my credit card --> Choose the Vendor List (NO TNB inside) confused.gif

then i email CIMB Centre, they reply : Some bill cannot be pay by using Credit Card No matter Auto Pay or Manual Pay (I think they did not fully read my email properly as i mention CIMB website got mention using CIMB CR CC to pay TNB via standing instruction will get 2% Cash Rebate)

Then... i call CIMB Card Centre , the card centre operator told me went to CIMB Branch to fill in the form , sign and submit....

Then goto CIMB Bank (branch), the customer service told me , operator are young, donno about this and that. Give me another number to call as the branch do not have that form to fill........ confused.gif

Then i back office, i call that number. Ish.... wrong department, is a Debit Card Promo department...

at the end call back Card Centre..... explain again and again....

then ask me goto TNB there sign up Auto Pay and use that card to pay and I will get the 2% mega_shok.gif

BUT.... i goto TNB website.... pay bill section...... CIMB Cannot pay TNB Bill via Credit Card...only via Saving / Current Account....

Ish.... rclxub.gif rclxub.gif .... any user pay their TNB Bill using this card and get the 2% rebate???
