i normally pay one day before statement day so i will have no issue on this.
But please correct me the issue that you meant and other forumers meant was, "
paying only the amount payable after cash rebate deducted; after statement date of the month, during the 20 days free interest day"?
actually all of the above

eg
Statement cutoff: 28 May 2016 (contain last month's cashback credited on 29 April 2016), e.g. RM1,000
Cashback credited: 29 May 2016 (to be appeared in next statement on 28 June 2016), e.g. RM50
Payment Due Date: 17 June 2016 (20-day interest free period from 28 May statement)
So, on or before 17 June, if you pay Statement Amount = RM1,000, then no issue with finance charge cuz you paid your statement amount in full.
However, if you pay Statement Amount (RM1,000) minus Cashback (RM50) = RM950, there could be an issue whereby CIMB system considered you didnt pay statement in full (less RM50!).
